National Western Stock Show 2006
Cattle Dog Trial Finals January 21, 2006.
The top 20 dogs competed.
Judge Dorance Eikamp presenting the first place awards
to Juan Reyes from Wheatland, WY and his dog Weasel.
They had a perfect score and completed the course in the fastest time.
Second Place went to Robert Johnson and his dog Paws from Iowa.
Payout went to the top 10 dogs.

We all had a great time at the NWSS Cattle Dog trial for 2006. The competition was for 2 days with the preliminaries and USBCHA points on the first day when 46 dogs competed. The finals had the top 20 dogs competing for the best score and fastest time. The course had a total of 105 points and 7 minutes to complete the course. What a super work of handlers and dogs with the top 4 having perfect score. We had a great crowd and they really cheered when the dogs completed the obstacles.
